From the huge list of 120 contestants, Miss World 2019 is finally crowned. Toni Ann Singh, Miss Jamaica has become the crown owner of the Miss World 2019 event. There was a proud Indian representation with Suman Ratan Rao, who is the second Runner up of the event.
The 20-year-old Suman Rao impressed everybody with her dressing, attitude and a stunning dance during the event.Her ambition in life was to be a role model and become the epitome of women upliftment.
Q. Your proudest moment of your life was paying your brother’s fees.?
She justified the statement:
“I come from a community where the roles of women are restricted. In fact, my mother has faced a lot of odds. Despite of that till she raised me and allowed me to choose my own dream. To follow my path and just be what I want to be. And that’s what makes me able to be an independent woman at this age of 20. Other women in my community are still struggling to have equal rights.”
The Big Question asked her during the Miss World 2019 event was:
Q. If you can choose one famous figure, from past or present to solve one of your global problems? Who would it be?
Suman Rao answered:
“To be honest, we had great leaders in the past and we will have future great leaders too. But I can’t make a single direct choice, each one of us has a role to play in society. and give back to society in whatever capacity we can. That’s what I want from all of you, we as an individual we can do som much to the country and the world. We just have to believe ourselves. I am telling it because, if I can then all can. Trust me.”
