Prahaar Box Office Collection Day 1
Advance sales for Prahaar were modest. Pinkvilla reported about 8,500 admissions in PVR Inox and Cinepolis for Friday, against about 11,000 for Yami Gautam’s Nayyi Navelli, which also releases today. The trade outlet expects both films to open in the range of ₹1.5 crore to ₹3.5 crore, with the weekend depending on word of mouth.

What Is Prahaar About?
Prahaar is based on the career of senior public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, who led the prosecution in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks case against Ajmal Kasab and in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case. The trailer’s line, “Naa bandook, naa goli, sirf saboot aur sachhai”, sums up the film’s courtroom focus.
