Jio Studios has released the Nakhrewaalii trailer, a romantic comedy starring newcomers Ansh Duggal and Pragati Srivastava. Produced by Aanand L Rai‘s Colour Yellow, the film is directed by Rahul Shanklya and releases in cinemas on 30 October 2026.
Nakhrewaalii Trailer Out
The trailer came out on 15 October 2026 on the official Jio Studios YouTube channel and crossed 2.7 lakh views within its first day. The makers have called the film a “womantic” comedy, a playful twist on the classic Majnu-Laila love story.
The trailer opens with the hero’s views on love and on the special treatment he believes women get. It then shows his double standards about the women he dates and the woman he would marry. A clash of opinions slowly turns into a love story, and the hero has to go to unusual lengths to win the girl, in line with the film’s tagline: “Kabhi kabhi ishq mein Majnu ko bhi Laila banna padta hai.”
