Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3 ended on November 3 with a Grand Finale. The contestants of the season spent about three months indoors and left no stone unturned to stay in the spotlight. Singer Rahul Sipligunj was declared Bigg Boss Telugu 3 winner, while television host Sreemukhi became the first runner-up of the reality show hosted by Nagarjuna.
In addition to the trophy, Sipligunj took home an amount of Rs 50 lakh, but according to a report from Tollywood.net, Sreemukhi was paid higher among other contestants of the season. The actor-TV actor was paid Rs 80 Lakhs due to his huge popularity in the states of Telugu. Other finalists Varun Sandesh, Ali Reza and Baba Bhaskar would have been paid somewhere between Rs 30 Lakhs and Rs 20 Lakhs as compensation. The finalists received a decent amount, while the other participants of the season were paid between Rs 1 Lakh and Rs 15 Lakhs.
Presenter Nagarjuna Akkineni has charged Rs 5 million for hosting 30 episodes of Bigg Boss Telugu 3. However, the channel has not officially released any of the above payment. The same report suggests that Ramya Krishna, who performed two episodes in Nagarjuna’s absence, charged Rs 5 Lakhs per episode. This season has been voted as the most entertaining episode of Bigg Boss Telugu seasons and the team announced that next season will surely come by September 2020.
