Mohanlal has announced the further details and special cast of actors being part of his directorial debut ‘Barroz’.

Recently Mohanlal’s announcement to direct ‘Barroz’ has created quite a buzz. The movie will be made in the backdrop of Portugal and will showcase the story of a man who safeguards the treasures of Vasco D’Gama. Mohanlal posted a video on his official Facebook page where he talked about the movie’s theme and its spectacular star cast.

Spanish actors Paz Vega and Rafael Amargo will be playing crucial roles in. Mohanlal also mentioned that his directorial venture will fall in the genre of children’s fantasy movie. The writer of Barroz has been famous for ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’, the first Indian movie to be made in 3D. Amargo is playing the role of Vasco D’Gama in Barroz, while Paz Vega will play the role of his love interest.

It’s reported to be made as to the biggest budget Malayalam movie and will be produced by Aashirvad Cinemas. Further details of the movie will be announced soon as fans are eagerly waiting for Mohanlal’s directorial debut. Earlier Mohanlal’s movie Lucifer directed by Prithviraj emerged as a highest collected movie with close to 200 Crores worldwide. Currently, he is awaiting a bunch of movie releases and after the rush, he will start the shoot of ‘Barroz’.
