Actor Sumeet Vyas was born on born 27 July 1983. He spent his early days in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Sumeet later moved to Mumbai to chase his dreams in acting and writing. He dropped out of college and joined as an assistant editor in Mumbai.

His father is B.M.Vyas, who was a writer and his mother’s name is Sudha Vyas. His ex-wife is Shivani Tanksale, they were married for 7 years and later divorced. He then married Ekta Kaul and the couple now has a baby boy.

English Vinglish was one of his well known movies. He simultaneously wrote and acted in web series. Bang Baja Baarat was one of the web series that he has written. His role in the web series, Permanent Roommates was a huge breakthrough. He has worked in more than 30 movies, till date.
