Summary:
Sarileru Neekevvaru is the story of an army man who gets involved in an issue with an MLA and mother of another martyred soldier. Action, romance and engaging moments make the viewing a good affair. The film was released on January 10. Let’s see how it is.
Story:
Major Ajay is sent on a mission to convey martyrdom to the Bharati (mother of the martyred soldier) at Kurnool. An MLA tried to kill Bharati and her daughters as she files a case against him. Ajay comes to the rescue to take off the authority and attack of the MLA on the family. The resistance and the payback form the crux of the story.
Plus Points:
Spyder actor Mahesh Babu takes the lead with a punchline and high octane action scenes. His screen presence is yet another major USP and never fails to impress the fans with his charm. Rashmika Mandana plays the perfect role of invoking comedy through her and family’s acts. Even with a less stronger role in respect to the script, she amazes us with the limited space and that makes Rashmika promising. On-screen chemistry with Mahesh babu will melt the fans off. Emotional and bold acting of Vijayshanthi immerses the character inside us even after moving out of the theaters.
Minus:
The script is a major drawback as the plot is just wafer-thin. Even though action and fun were well balanced, the director inserts sexist comedies which seems irrelevant. The sexist remarks and at point adds in misogyny, creates feel of being inserted without purpose.
Technical Aspects:
Camera work by R. Rathnavelu looks really impressive. With different angles and perfect tone, the audience gets immersed in the movie. Music by Devi Sree Prasad is brilliant and should be called best of recent times. BGM tones too added to the feel of the situations. Tammiraju adds brilliant editing skills, which stood out in minimizing the lag during a few scenes.
Verdict:
Sarileru Neekevvaru is a one time watchable movie. If you are a Mahesh Babu fan, it will surely add thrill and you can enjoy the entertainment ignoring the few small flaws.
