Following a brief modeling career, Taapsee Pannu began acting in the Telugu movie Jhummandi Naadam (2010) before making his debut in Tamil cinema with the critically and commercially successful Aadukalam (2011). She made prominent appearances in films in Tamil and Telugu, including Mr. Perfect (2011), Sahasam (2013), Arrambam (2013), Kanchana 2 (2015), Ghazi (2017), Pink, Judwaa 2, Thappad, and so on.
Upcoming movies of Taapsee include Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan? written and directed by Arshad Syed starring Pratik Gandhi, and Prateik Babbar together with Taapsee Pannu, and Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani starring Shah Rukh Khan and Boman Irani with Taapsee in lead roles.
