Pooja Batra Shah is an Indian model, host, producer and an actress. She has won the Femina Miss India International title in 1993. During her long film career, she has acted in Bollywood and South Indian movies.

She completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Faridabad. She completed her graduation in Economics from Fergusson College, Pune. Later she joined for MBA in marketing from Symbiosis, Pune. She has been doing modelling as a part-time job from a very young age.
Pooja started doing advertisements and small roles in movies. As she gained attention, she got multiple offers from movies. With back to back impressive roles, she became quickly popular. She was one of the most loved South Indian actress for a long time.

She was born to Neelam Batra and Ravi Batra. Her father was an Army Colonel and her mother was a Miss India 1971 contestant. During her childhood she lived with her family in Ludhiana. She has two brothers who are well settled. Pooja Batra’s husband is Nawab Shah.
