Tamil movie makers have been waiting to make a grand entry into web series. Mani Ratnam directorial anthology series has already made headlines. The series will have nine episodes made by different makers with different genre stories. Mani Ratnam, KV Anand, Bejoy Nambiar, Rathindran Prasad, Ponram Gautham Menon, Karthik Naren, Siddharth, Arvind Swamy helms each episode.
The whole project is helmed together into a single series by Madras Talkies of Mani Ratnam. Navarasa web series cast has Vijay Sethupathi, Suriya, Parvati, Sneha, Jai, Siddharth and Arvind Swamy. Fans were eagerly waiting for the release of the series. It was already planned to release on either Amazon Prime or Netflix.
As per latest reports, Netflix will be streaming Navarasa web series. Currently, Mani Ratnam is also part of a multi-star film Ponniyin Selvan. It will be one of the highest budget movie starring Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Karthi etc. Navarasa release date has not been announced by Netflix yet.
