Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr, also known as Jr NTR, is a prominent actor in the Telugu film industry. Born on May 20, 1983, he is now 39 years old. His father is Nandamuri Harikrishna, a film actor and politician, and his uncle is Nandamuri Balakrishna, a Telugu actor and politician. His grandfather is N.T Rama Rao, a former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and a Telugu actor.
Early Beginnings
Jr NTR started his acting career as a child artist, appearing in his first Telugu film, Brahmarshi Viswamitra, in 1991. He later acted in the television serial Bhaktha Markandeya at the age of 13. He made his debut as a lead actor in the Telugu movie Ninnu Choodalani in 2001, which was a failure. However, he gained recognition for his performance in the film Student No.1, which was also released in the same year.

Since then, Jr NTR has completed over 32 films, including notable works such as Adhurs, Brindavanam, Temper, and Janatha Garage. He has won numerous Best Actor awards for his performances in these films.

Jr NTR is married to Lakshmi Pranathi, the daughter of realtor and businessman Narne Srinivasa Rao. The couple has two sons. Jr NTR is also a Kuchipudi dancer and has a massive fan following around the world.
