In Karnataka, advance bookings opened on 11 October, with first-day shows starting at 6 AM. Overseas, the film opens in Canada on 14 October and in the UK and Europe on 15 October.

Jailer 2 continues the story of Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, the retired jailer who took on a dangerous gang in the 2023 film. The trailer shows Muthuvel going undercover as a driver to track down his new enemies.
S. J. Suryah’s Bodhi and his father Kalpak, played by Mithun Chakraborty, appear to be the main villains. The makers have not shared more of the plot.
