Storyline:
The long-awaited and prestigious Alt Balaji Web Series Code M is finally released. The story opens up with the encounter of a suspected terrorist and is claimed by the public as a fake encounter. Major Monica Mehra played by Jenifer Winget is the lawyer and is assigned to investigate the case. The suspected terrorist, Asim was killed near the Rajasthan Pakisthan border by army men.
The rough and tough Monica Mehra is set on a hunt of truth. She has to face the wrath, non-cooperation and support of her own team. She is well supported by her teammate played by Tanuj Virani and senior role by Rajat Kapoor.
Stars and Performances:
Jennifer Winget plays the role with ease and pulled off a brilliant performance. The role of a military major is played well and has sheer grit in the hard tasks and faces it on the hunt for the truth. Beauty, action and brilliance together make this role amazing and a treat to watch. Emotions, love and commitment come in hand to hand and she takes on the big challenge when her army colleagues are against her.
Tanuj Virwani her teammate and her senior Rajat Kapoor support Monica in proceeding with her mission against all odds. Camera works are impressive and it adds to the thrills and action. A few actions scenes one in the bar too where Monica Mehra is introduced well.
Negatives:
Code M directed by Akshay Choubey falls back at places. It seems lagging and feels that the story has been stretched which affects storytelling. Editing has become a concern throughout the series and tried too many ways but fails to keep it fast-paced.
