Abhishek Bachchan is an Indian movie actor and film producer predominantly working in Bollywood. He is the son of the celebrity couple Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, born on 5th February 1976.
He made his Bollywood debut with J. P. Dutta’s war film Refugee, and he featured in multiple movies but those performed miserably at the Box Office.
Dhoom became his first commercially hit movie which completely boosted up his career and then his performances were acclaimed in Yuva, Sarkar and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna which was a multi-star movie with Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee which was rewarded with Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. His role as Dhirubhai Ambani in Mani Ratnam’s movie Guru earned him the nomination in Filmfare Award for Best Actor.
Later on, he became part of much more hit movies and few comedy films too including Bunty Aur Babli, Bluffmaster, Dostana, Bol Bachchan, Happy New Year and Housefull 3. His most grossing movies are of the Dhoom franchise: Dhoom 2 with Hrithik Roshan and Dhoom 3 with Aamir Khan
Abhishek Bachchan has won 3 Filmfare awards and also the National Film Award for Best Film in Hindi for producing the comedy-drama ‘Paa’. He is married to the Bollywood queen ‘Aishwarya Rai’ and has a kid ‘Aaradhya Bachan’.
