The Body is an upcoming crime thriller starring Rishi Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi, Vedhika and Sobhita Dhulipala. It is the remake of a 2012 Spanish movie of the same name. The Body will be the first movie to see Rishi Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi together on the big screen. The trailer opens into a morgue room with one of the open and seemingly empty compartments.
The remake will be directed by Jeethu Joseph. This will mark his directorial debut in Bollywood. The only other Bollywood movie he has worked with in the past was writing the script for Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam, based on Jeethu’s Malayalam movie of the same name.
