One of the biggest controversies in Malayalam movie happened in the name of Veyil movie. The Kumbalanghi Nights actor Shane Nigam plays the lead role in the movie. Official Youtube channel of Goodwill entertainments has announced about the trailer launch of Veyil on 17 August 2020.
Earlier the film went on hold after controversy stirrer amongst producer Joby and Shane Nigam. The AMMA association took the initiative to solve the issue and had recently completed the shoot of the film. It is set in the backdrop of a youngster’s life whose life takes a different turn as he involves in an act.
Veyil cast has Shane Nigam, Suraj Venjaramood, Shine Tom Chacko, Sona Olickal, James Elia, Merin Jose Pottackal, Saed Imran, Sree Rekha etc. The film is written and directed by Sarath. It is produced by Joby George under the banner of Goodwill Entertainments. Earlier the movie was expected to release in May but had to shift the release due to the external conditions.
The movie is expected to release by the end of August or beginning of September 2020. It is yet another movie, bringing in a huge number of fresh faces into the film industry. The movie will be released through any OTT platform and Hotstar or Amazon Prime will be the options if not Netflix.
