The much-awaited biopic movie PM Narendra Modi is a mirror to the life and struggles of the greatest leader of all times in India is finally on the screen. The film was highly anticipated as the maker of the movie comes with a stellar set of works including Mary Kom and Sarabjit. PM Narendra Modi more than that of a political movie is highlighting on the unknown side of Modi and his childhood, youth life etc which actually is unknown to the public.
To add to the beauty Modi, the actual real-life hero led NDA has won 2019 Lok Sabha elections and hopefully will again be the Prime Minister. Omung Kumar who has done a spectacular job in Mary Kom and other movies actually falls short of his skills because Modi is so huge that the story and camera weren’t able to replicate it on the big screen. When considering the luck of Vivek Oberoi to be part of this movie, it is the best chance he could have got for a comeback movie as a lead.
The story looks fine but the performance of Vivek actually feels like a half effort and is completely unimpressive as we have seen how Modi has been ruling Gujarat and then the last 5 years as PM. Movie showcases almost everyone in the BJP cadre and the struggles during his childhood, his days in the Himalayas, the fight against the Indira Gandi Government etc. There are grey shades of businessmen in the movie and it took on the Congress party and specifically Sonia Gandhi too which are real-life things than fiction part.
Zareena Wahab plays a stellar role as the mother of Modi but after all, moments will fade away as the only thing which stays with you is the Modi chanting. The movie has been completely silent about controversies of Modi’s life including the Gujrath rioits and only points out “Desh Bhakt” in him. PM Narendra Modi ends with an incomplete feel as “Modi is not a person, he is a kind of thought and belief’ that actually didn’t work out in the script.
