Neeya 2 is a different movie from its prequel which was a huge hit set in the background of revenge. This edition of the movie is a multi-starrer which revolves around a shape-shifting serpent which is set to find the love of her life and the challenges which happen during the journey.
The movie stands composed within the genre and doesn’t go out of topic, which is the attractive part.
The cinematography of the movie, Neeya 2 is appreciable and has few watchable CG works which seem average and has some good background scores. Raai Laxmi after the Bollywood appearance as Julie has good screen space and does a fabulous job for her role. Jai and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar seemed a bit lacking in performance throughout Neeya 2.
The weak screenplay and the hush of flashback scenes completely distort the connection of the movie and that’s one among the loose ends of the movie. Catherine Theresa does a decent job in the role she is offered especially the combination with Jai. Characters are mostly of a floaty model and don’t give any impact than just existing. The plot lacks the effect of making the audience believe even if the story looks supernatural, but Neeya 2 terribly fails to do that.
