My Story with Prithviraj and Parvathy has hit the screens and the film was very much anticipated to bring together the lovely couples after Ennu Ninte Moideen. Prithviraj essays the role of Jay (an aspiring actor), who finds his big break in a movie which has Thara (Parvathy) in the lead who is a popular actress. Thara though engaged to a person whom she isn’t interested in and starts liking Jay and their journey forms the crux of the story. The movie shows the same image of various movies we have watched for decades. A rich girl is frustrated by her controlling and rich fiance and opts for the loving poor orphan guy.
The movie is mostly shot at Lisbon, Portugal, the music of Shaan Rahman, cinematography and the songs are the mentionable bonus parts of the movie. Parvathy looks super stunning in the movie, and that too in a completely new avatar. Ganesh Venkataraman did well as Thara’s fiance, and few good performances from senior actors were applaudable. The on-screen romance and screen presence of the couple deserves an additional applause. As a whole, My Story is a normal love story which may seem to be a repetition of various movies you have watched. You can watch the movies in the Box Office without much of expectations and you will have a good time watching it.
