Malavika Mohanan made her Debut in Malayalam with Pattam Pole in 2013. She later made her mark in the Bollywood film industry with the movie, Beyond the Clouds by Majid Majidi. Her role was to play a poor girl from the dhobi ghat area of Mumbai.

In a very few days she ventured into the Tamil industry and co-starred with Rajinikanth and other huge cast in the movie Petta. Malavika Mohanan is the Master movie actress along with Vijay.
