Amala Paul’s ‘Aadai’ got cancelled turning out to be upset on the release date. Theatres seem to have cancelled the shows due to non-receipt of the KDM and are refunding the tickets or offering alternative movie tickets. Aadai joins the unlucky setbacks happening in Tamil movies recently due to the financial crisis
Aadai has been a big topic of discussion for some pictures of Amala Paul in sultry look and is certified ‘A grade movie’.The movie is directed by Rathna Kumar and its Telugu dubbed version was also in the lot as Amala Paul has a good fanbase there.
Amala and the team had earlier pointed that ‘Aadai’ will be a game-changer in the Tamil cinema. Along with Amala, Aadai has Bijili Ramesh, Vivek Prasanna, Sriranjani and Sarithran in important roles. Aadai is produced by V Studios and has a grand team including cinematography and music.
Quite recently Vijay Sethupathi’s Sindhubaadh was the victim of such a scenario. The Hyderabad HC had ordered a stay on the release of the film over after Arka Media works. After much of negotiations, the film was released on June 27.
Vishal’s Ayogya, scheduled to release on May 10, was cancelled on the day of its release. The film, after much negotiations, released the next day. Makers of ‘Aadai’ haven’t responded to the issue right now and will have to wait for their response when the movie will be released.
