Telugu audience has been loving Malayalam actors for many decades. Even before any Malayalam actor had fan clubs in Kerala, Andhra had fans club for actor Suresh Gopi. Recently Mammootty acted in Telugu movie Yathra which is the biopic of YS Rajashekahara Reddy.’ Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Reddlu’, has yet another Malayalam star and the movie is directed by RGV.
Ajam Ameer of Pranayakalam fame will do the title role of Jaganmohan Reddy. When asked about the movie he said “It is a political thriller and includes many vital issues of the state. We had actually sharted shooting the movie almost a month ago. Ajmal is always fit and is known for his physique said that he has paused working out to match the look with the role.
When asked if he met the Jagan, he said “We haven’t met yet, but have been watching his videos to match his mannerisms. The team feels that I am matching it well”.The film is the journey of Jagan through political struggles. It’s expected to release by Summer 2020.
