Indian Talents wants every article to be correct. This page explains how we check facts and how we fix mistakes.
How we check facts
- Official first: release dates, cast, episode counts and platforms are checked against the producer, OTT platform, TV channel or the artist’s verified account.
- Two sources for anything not official: when no official source exists, we look for at least two reliable, independent reports and say where the information comes from.
- Clear labels: unconfirmed details are marked as “reportedly”, “approx.” or “according to [source]”. We do not guess.
- Names and faces: before using a photo, we confirm that it shows the right person and comes from an official or verified source.
- Live stories: eliminations, box office numbers and release changes are rechecked each time the article is updated.
How we correct mistakes
- If we find an error, or a reader reports one, we check it and fix the article as soon as possible.
- For an important factual error, such as a wrong date, wrong name or wrong figure, we add a short correction note at the end of the article that says what was changed.
- Small fixes such as spelling or formatting are made without a note.
- The “last updated” date on the article changes whenever the article is updated.
