Miss Kerala 2019 winner Ansi Kabeer met with an accident. The event happened on 1 November 2021 and she passed away. Along with her was the runner up of the event Anjana Shajan. As per the news reports, the car deviated to avoid hitting a bike. It went on to crash and resulted in the death of two models.

Two other passengers in the car are in critical condition. They are being admitted to a hospital and is taken care of. Both the models have been part of multiple photoshoots and TV ads too. Recently, Anjana Shajan and Ansi Kabeer were seen with Prithviraj Sukumaran in Kalyan Silks ad.
The modeling and fashion fraternity has mourned the incident. The fans and viewers of the show are in absolute shock.
